ARC-OPS-007: Trial Application Screening (Accept/Reject)

Screen applicants for ARC’s 2-week trial to protect culture, improve outcomes, and ensure only good-fit members are admitted.

• Never place API keys, webhook secrets, or tokens inside SOP pages.
• Store secrets only in approved environment variable stores (.env.personal / Vercel env / platform secret manager).
• If a key is ever exposed in chat/docs, rotate it immediately.

• No money is collected up front for trial applicants.
• Not every applicant is accepted.
• Fit, values alignment, and willingness to execute are required.

• Has a clear business/personal growth goal for next 90 days.
• Agrees to weekly action commitments and check-ins.
• Open to honest feedback and accountability loops.
• Demonstrates respectful communication.
• Can commit minimum participation: weekly call + 2 check-ins/week.

• Wants “done-for-you results” with no personal execution.
• Shows repeated blame/no-ownership behavior during application/interview.
• Disrespectful/toxic communication.
• Attempts to sell unrelated offers into ARC from day one.
• Severe mismatch with ARC values (Authenticity, Responsibility, Courage).

1. Applicant submits form (goal, blocker, current routine, why ARC now).
2. Tag in CRM as arc_trial_applicant.
3. Run quick fit review using scorecard below.
4. If unclear, run 10–15 min fit call.
5. Decision within 48 hours: accept / conditional accept / reject.
6. Update CRM tag: arc_trial_accepted / arc_trial_rejected.
7. Send decision message template.

• Communication quality
• Cultural fit with ARC values

Decision rule: 8–10 accept, 6–7 conditional accept, 0–5 reject.

Conditional acceptance can be granted if applicant agrees to explicit expectations (attendance + check-ins + behavior standards) during trial.

• Accept: "You’re approved for ARC’s 2-week trial. No payment is due up front. Here’s your start link + next steps."
• Conditional: "You’re approved conditionally for a 2-week trial. Here are the exact expectations to stay in good standing."
• Reject: "Right now, ARC is not the best fit for your current needs. If this changes, you’re welcome to reapply later."

If an applicant is high potential but borderline fit, escalate to Ryan for final decision.
